"I, Marjie Caradant, was trained in Paris and right here in Toronto at the "Food and Beverage Management" program at Ryerson. My first adventure 30 years ago was to open Le Faubourg, a French restaurant in Aurora. It was a fabulous opportunity to fulfil my dream of creating fresh gourmet dishes for the public.

             After seven years of success in Aurora, I decided to move to Toronto and open a French restaurant at Sheppard Avenue West and Allen Road. Le Montmartre is named after the renowned 19th century Artist's Quarter of Paris. New customers are often surprised to find such a charming, cozy French restaurant right here in the heart of North York."
